Fantastic food, great service would go again any time

Just found this great place in Mt. Pleasant, Tx. and to think we just live 15 miles away in Mt. Vernon. Loved the buffet (11.00+drink and dessert) can't beat the price for wonderful service and fantastic home cooking. We will go back forsure.

I enjoyed the food, I went to the buffet until I couldn't eat no more. I will go back.

Great southern comfort food

The food is delicious and the buffet style leaves wait time to a minimum. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable.

Outstanding fried catfish on Fridays. Comfort southern food done well. Kids loved it.

It's good home-style cooking. Nothing fancy and reasonably priced.

Cold food on buffet which should have been warm or hot. Not good selection. I gave them benefit over doubt. Ist time was bad also so I waited 6 months or longer to return. I will not recommend this establishment to anyone nor will I ever return. It is way over priced also.

Very good variety

The buffet was very good. Meatloaf was wonderful. The only downside was it was so hot in the restaurant.

Canned vegetables, no sauce for tamales. Very little appears to be homemade. No flavor, school lunch room food. At $10, not worth it.

PRICE: $11 EXACTLY [DRINK/BUFFET/DESSERT] Love this place!...I have visited place twice already....and loved both days1st time: During the week the menu changed.... that day they served fried chicken..mashed potatoes ..gravy......spaghetti and meatballs.....chicken fried steak...etc2nd time: Fridays is CATFISH day!! With hushpuppies....fried shrimp....etc

Great comfort food. The catfish is absolutely great! I was in Mt. Pleasant for work. I looked for the busiest place to eat lunch and this place was packed with locals so it was my choice also. Great choice.

Good down home buffet or choose from the menu. Very helpful staff.

Wonderful fresh made food everyday on a buffet!! There is also a menu you can choose from if you don't want the buffet. Very friendly and helpful owners & staff.

Not many selections of meat. Most good taste like it is precooked (frozen or out of a can). Just tried it out once. Not good enough for me to want to visit again.

Great comfort food at an affordable price! This buffet is only open for a few hours during lunch Sunday through Thursday and open until 7pm on Fridays, closed Saturdays (the sisters need some rest!) but so well worth the drive (20 min for us) to eat foods that we enjoy. Today was fried fish, fried chicken, chicken spaghetti (my favorite!!), sausage links, chicken fried steak, cowboy stew, mashed taters, cream gravy, green beans, carrots, corn, mustard greens, great northern beans, fried okra, cornbread, and a cold bar with salad fixings and other salads. Desserts are warm chocolate fudge cake, peach cobbler, peanut butter cookies, strawberry cake, chocolate peanut butter chip brownies, and cinnamon rolls!! There is a menu for other items, just have never ordered anything from it though. They also offer take out. Very friendly staff and clientele.

Had I used the restroom before I ate, I wouldn't have eaten here. The restroom was absolutely disgusting and usually an indication of the cleanliness of the rest of the restaurant. I will not go back and do not recommend.

The food is great. There is very little room to walk or sit at busy times especially during Sunday lunch. This makes it difficult because it is a buffet.

All you can eat buffet was awesome! They had fried catfish with all the fixings and other comfort foods and desserts. Will be back!

This is a quaint little place in Mount Pleasant Texas, very small and they close early. I loved the selection of foods and was all very good. It’s a buffet type family restaurant. Both times I’ve visited they had fried chicken, fried fish, fried porkchops a couple of other meat dishes plenty of vegetables to choose from and a salad bar. The price for senior citizens with your drink and buffet is only 10 bucks!

The website says close at 7pm on Friday. Wife and I drive to this place for fish arrive at 4.30 pm they were closed. They need to change their website hours. Probably my last attempt.
